Re: has any one ever heard of a jungle cornsnake?

A Junglecorn is not actually a Cornsnake it is a Hybrid snake. Junglecorns are the result of having bred a Cornsnake with a California Kingsnake (or JC X JC)& are actually 1/2 Corn 1/2 CK. The Hybrids are not sterile & can be bred to each other successfully or back to either parent species. I breed a number of JCs every year, Mark

Re: has any one ever heard of a jungle cornsnake?

Junglecorns also come in a whole array of different colors & patterns you get the best of both species combined into one. If you breed it back to a Cornsnake the resulting offspring are 25% CK & 75% Corn are called "Supercorns" not sure if they have a name for the 75% CK 25% Corn ones? "SuperKings" maybe? LOL Mark

Re: has any one ever heard of a jungle cornsnake?

LOL likely the CK in it coming out. Most likely feeding responses. An albino JC can go from anywhere around $50-$200+ depending on the source, size, sex, age etc. I think they demand a higher price down in the US than they do here in Canada? I'm thinking yours is likely worth at least $100 down there maybe more? Mark
