Hognose pricing question??

Hi all. I was just wondering at what I would be looking at for a pair of unrelated western hognoses? Just regular phase, or red. Don't need anything special, just enquiring, that's all. Thanks in advance for any help provided.

You cannot legally aquire or keep them in Alberta unfortunately. They are considered a Native species therefore it is illegal to buy, sell, trade, possess them without a special permit. Permits are not available, unless you are a zoo usually. Even though they don't appear on the restricted list, they are restricted as per native species. Mark

I thought so. I was actually going to PM you thru T.A.R.A.S. and get some info about the native species list, and exactly what it is and details. Maybe i'll just call ya tonight, and we can discuss this. Thanks though.

TARAS always has the Restricted list for show vendors & has recently added the native species list to avoid confusion issues "Well it wasn't listed as restricted" used to be a common mistake in reguards to native species. Both lists are now on the TARAS site in the General forum for all to view anytime, Mark
