Sorry i am very new to corn genetics and am still trying to get my head arond it. If i have a normal corn and a normal that is het for albino and i breed them together will all of the off spring still carry the albino gene or only some of them?
Simon is correct. You would then have to breed the offspring to figure out which are het and which are not. Even then, it's hit and miss unless you breed them back to the parent who is normal X het amel.
The only way you'd be able to get all 100% hets is if you breed a normal to a snake that actually shows the morph - ie, if you bred a normal to an amel, the babies would all be normal het amel.
