Hi all, I was wondering if anyone on this forum in a drivable distance from Montreal will be coming this week end to the Montreal Insect Show...

Rob, did you post an announcement on this forum?

Anyway, I hope to see as many people as possible from this forum, I will be there the whole week-end for a good inevert chat!...

I live in Montreal, and didn't know there was an insect show this weekend.
What is the time of the show?

The whole show is mostly based on dead insects for collectible...

I will be selling Ts, I believe we will be (Rob will also be there) the only one selling live animals there... but it is also about trying to get to know more hobbyists and educating others that are not in the hobby... maybe we get new addicts!

I will be offering (I just counted!LOL) approx. 100 different species (and not only one specimen of each!) of Ts for sale this week end... come and do your shopping, you should find pretty much everything you could desire!

If we add Rob's table, I believe that is pretty much the biggest selection of Ts offered in Canada... under one roof! So, does it sound interesting?

Tim, that is a long trip though!LOL

Omg but by the time I paid for gas I couldn't buy anything anyways! I just want to see that many T's in one place at one time. But you and Rob would get annoyed at me after only five minutes of "What's this?..... What's that?..... What's this?............" haha Holy I would have to leave now though!

Yes, you better start packing right now!LOL

As far as questions are concerned, anyone can come and test my patience! It is always a pleasure to talk about our passion and I rather have people asking more questions then not enough...

There are a lot of invert hobbysists in Alberta and BC, there should be something eventually there too... maybe it will be time for me to visit western Canada...

I will try to take pictures this week-end and post them when I get the chance...

Take care

Martin

If anyone has a herc beetle can you take a pic! I am fasinated by them. I like beetles. I wonder if they are available live? A big rhino beetle wandering around a live planted tank would be cool! Ya I am weird!

Martin, I had posted a while ago but thanks for re-posting as some might not have seen. I had posted a month ago or so.

Siretsap, I go to the association so it is me that you are probably thinking of as I know Martin doesn't go there. He might want to one day. I don't kow if he's into reptiles though.

Tim, check you e-mail. I will send you one in a few minutes.

Hope to see you all there, at the show that is!

As Rob mentionned, I never went to the association, maybe I will one day, but I do not keep any reptiles... still, I had been offered to come by someone, but somehow it slipped out of my mind...

Tim, I believe those beetles are illegal in Canada (live animals that is)... but I heard of people having some, do not know who though... a lot of hobbyists would like to get their hands on insects... the only thing I can get is many different species of mantids... those are legal...

Oh man I am disappointed to hear that! Although cockroaches are illegal also and everyone has those. I have never owned a mantid. Our local ones are cool though. Sorry I didn't mean to get your post off topic.

I would've checked it out, but I won't be in Montreal again until the weekend after that.
