Happy Birthday To Me!!!
We went to the pet store today so that I could show my girl Baby "G" the new baby ball pythons that they had gotten in thursday night. The were on for an excellent price ($79.99 each unsexed) and I was trying to convince her to think about us getting one. Well she must love me because we are now the proud owners of a cute little baby ball. This is our first snake and we absolutely adore it. Right now we are finishing up the enclosure for it (adding more hides and such) and Baby "G" will be posting some pics of our new baby in the next few days.
Monday is my birthday so I guess that this is an early birthday present for me.
Matt

Happy Birthday Matt, one question, is it a wild caught or captive bred?

It is captive bred!!! We are now waiting to see if he/she will emerge from hiding as we haven't seen him/her all day. I know it is probably just stressed a little from the trip home but hopefully will come around in a day or two.

Matt, best thing is to just make sure your temps are good and that she has clean water and totally leave her alone the first week so she can get adjusted. Then after the weeks up you can try feeding her and start handling (but don't mix the two:P)... All the fun stuff
Well congrats on the new addition, at a great price for CB and Happy Birthday !!

Quick little update . . . last night our little guy/girl was up and checking everything out again. He/she even decided to re-arrange the furniture (makes me think we have a female . . . . lol . . . . jk).
So Kyle you think that I should wait an entire week before I try feeding him/her? The guys at the pet store only had them in for 2 days and had them all in the same tank when we got ours so they didn't know the last time it ate and I was talking to Burmies here and he suggested that we feed him/her tonight.
I was going to but if I really should wait a bit longer then I will.
Matt
