What is the "ABY Line?"

And why is it significant?

The "Aby line" is one of the new stripe lines that have recently popped up in my collection. Started with Ozzy and Harriet two siblings. In 2010 they produced a litter with some of the babies showing very aberrant side markings. I repeated the pairing in 2011 and got another litter of the same but those were not quite as extreme as some of the 2010's were, still aberrant though.

Some pics.......

Brandi 2010 HA-OZ aby line

Re: What is the "ABY Line?"

Just really gorgeous snakes man. They put the ones I saw at the show today to shame.

Edit- not that those weren't pretty but....yea.

Re: What is the "ABY Line?"

Show, I've found, typically have a very poor selection of Brazilians. Dave, on the other hand, has no such issues. ;-)

Dave, why "aby" instead of something more related to "lines"? Just as a friendly caution, I see potential for marketing confusion with all the other people crossing abberant animals.

No reason, and yeah, could use a zippier name.

Any suggestions?

Typical of this aberrant line is joined lateral patterns.
