feeding hatchlings

So we now have 3 teeny tiny babies and I've been reading up trying to figure out it they can take a whole mouse pinky. Everything I come across just says mouse pinky but doesn't say if I should chop it up cause it looks too big or if they can down a whole one. Our other one is quite a bit bigger but when he was tiny we just chopped up baby frozen rats for him and never bothered with mice..

Not sure what size they are, but if you doubt their ability to take an entire mouse pinky, you could try cutting one up, or maby worms? I fed a few other baby colubrids worms.

when my corn was a baby he liked his pinkies split in half. another option is to buy extra small pinkies, they are tiny.

mine took pinks cut in half length wise.. after a few good feeds I got him to take whole etra small pinks. He was only 4 grams at birth...

I wouldn't feed worms to a corn snake. I'd say start with extra small pinkies, or if that's still too big you can cut them in half lengthwise.

I will try cutting them length wise like I said when our other was tiny we chopped up rat pinks which got a bit messy with a leg here a head there. my hubby had to do it cause it was too yucky for me. I'm gettin better though I just have to remind myself how many chickens I quarter for us to eat and remind myself its not much different

Do not feed worms. They can handle new pinks no problem. Never had a baby that couldn't take one for their first meal.
