Pied Breeding
My Pied male from Ralph Davis finally started breeding for me!.......Now, I only have to work on my Red Axanthic male to breed and I'll have all males breeding for me! I'm trying to produce very few possible hets so some of my het males will be sitting this breeding season out. Anyways, Enjoy the pics!
This was the Pied male this morning spurring the female. This female was produced by Clint Gilders back in 1999. I've raised her up for a hatchling and she produced 8 eggs last year (her first breeding season). When I peaked in on them this morning I thought to myself "stop fooling around and get breeding!"......I guess my little pep talk with him worked..lol.

This is him breeding when I got home from work.

This little guy was also breeding along with some of my other males. This is my Pastel het for Ghost male breeding a normal female. So far this season he's bred 2 normal females, a Pastel het for ghost female and his orange ghost mother.

All of my balls are just starting to really get into breeding mode. So far I've had 16 of my 50 adult females bred so far.
Enjoy the pics!
Corey

Awesome! It's always so funny to see the smaller males snuggled up with those huge females... hehe...
Best of luck with those breedings!

Great shots Corey. Pieds are my absolute favorit ball morph hands down. I think I like them so much because they are more likely to naturally occur in the wild then most other morphs.
Cheers and good luck man,
Trevor

Just out of curiousity
How come on Pied balls their areas with "normal" pattern are always somewhat far from normal? I have seen some photos on other forums and the areas of "normal" are far from normal with some really crazy patterns and colors....why is this and would it be possible to get a BP with this all over without the white blotches? I have seen some crazy patterns and colors on some pieds!

Thanks for the kind words everyone! The female pictured is about 2800g's which is small compared to my 4000g females.
Corey
P.S. All pieds have a wacky pattern. Some are dorsally striped where as others have a maze pattern to them.
