Sleeping position?

Hi! I was wondering how peoples cresties sleep? Anyone noticed a favorite place or position?
Both of mine seem to sleep curled up like a cat! Usually under the cork bark or a fake leaf, its adorable!! is this normal?

lol, they are adorable like this! I was worried it was strange and that maybe mine had died or something in the night :bugout: so the first time I saw it I reached in and picked her up to make sure she was ok... boy did she hate that!!

Mine sleep in any position! The younger ones tend to curl up on a leaf, or between leaves (gecko sandwich!). The cresteds that have snakeplant in their tank will almost always sleep in between the vertical leaves.

It seems like once they find a good position, they will stick with it for monthes. I have one female that sleeps on the exact same spot on the glass at the top of the exoterra everyday, while her cagemate (another female) always sleeps in their snakeplant between two specific leaves.

sleeping

Hey Amanda, I've noticed the same thing with my Geckos. They choose one spot and seem to stay there for while. The one female would be between the glas and a fake hanging plant upside down...switch up ways and then switch upside down again. She has now moved to sleeping in the back right corner by Shane. Shane sleeps in a flower pot (in the back right corner) and wraps his body around the plant.

The others just sort of randomly find spots to sleep. I have only seen the cat like position once or twice with the little guys, but I've yet to see it in a really long time.

I have a young crested that always sleeps hanging from the leaves of a particular plastic plant. It's actually really funny, sometimes only its front feet are holding to the plant. I'll see if i can take a pic

We've got 4 females in a community tank. Lots of places to hide, and sleep. But for some reason during the day you can normaly find all 4 in one half coconut shell thats on a repti-hamock.
