How long do i wait before cutting an egg open?

I have a clutch of eggs due in a week or so, but i noticed that one of them was oozing out of a little hole in the side, should i cut into it or just wait it out.I dont know what to do!!!

Wait it out
Sounds like it's about to hatch.

if you cut an egg open then the inhabitence of the egg will die. the reptile in the egg has to take it,s own time to come out and if you cut the egg this will cause alot of stress to the reptile and that will cause it to die.
