ball python hasn't eat in 3 months

my son bought ball python at pet store we are 2nd owners pet store says it ate 2 mice a week in morning.
we have tried everything diff mice tried gerbils live and prekilled put in bigger cage

help anybody

Be patient i've had a ball python go 4 months with no ill effects.

ball wont eat

balls are famous for this...i got a male go 6 months with no effects, and a female that gos 3-4 months at a time...just keep offering him his food like you always do...and try not to pull all your hair out while your waitin..lol

don't worry about it.... balls are like that... i have a male ball...he has gone 6-8 months with out eating...they become PICKY as hell... if it doesn't eat... wait a few weeks.. if not.. give it another 2-3 weeks and keep trying... what i did.. was every 3 weeks I offered rat pups.. if no.. I would go 3 week feeding til almost a month... reducing the size of the food...NOW mine ball is an adult i don't know about u'r s .... some tricks is to offer small mice maybe dip them in chicken broth..or even hoppers for the younger balls that go off feeding.., theres are smell for them.. I went to small gerbils for anout 4 months just to get him eating but now he's back to young rats... lil bigger than rat pups .. hope these an idea for U ..

try reducing them temp in the tank slow down there metabalism a lil . Good luck !!
