new to carpets

How can i tell what kind of carpet python a juvenile is

is a good source for carpet pictures. Mainly though deal with a reputable breeder. If you don't trust the breeder to tell you the truth then you should be dealing with them.

I have not bought the snake yet but wanted to know how I could make sure it was A jungle carpet python instead of the others

sorry i did not mean what does a juvenile look like but how to tell if a baby hatchling is a jungle, normal, coastal etc. I have never even seen a live one so my experience is limited to my internet research

Sometimes its really hard. Your best bet is to find a REPUTABLE breeder. No way a breeder worth anything will screw you over for $200. Too much at stake to risk a bad transaction like that. Might be tough where you are though. Not sure how many Morelia breeders are in South Africa. I've only hatched out Jungles, so I could show you what they look like, but even with the Jungle realm there is a TON of variance. And to top it off, ALL of them are the SAME species.

Post some pics if you have a questionable animal. We should be able to identify what a baby is. Its harder to describe how to distinguish one than it is to actually distinguish one.
