Switched.....

I now use paper towel for my leopard geckos rather then sand , I love it b/c you can actually see the leopards colour instead of him/her being dusty.

Sure makes my patternless look alot yellower

Another reason to use paper towels, other than the compaction concerns

And cleanup is sooo much easier with paper towel
Less chances of sand getting all over the room (and into the carpet) making mom/wife/housekeeper happier and less likely to object to the geckos.
And paper towel is much lighter than sand.... soooooooo.... you can probably find even more places to put a lighter tank for more leos!!!!

And sand doesn't get into the waterdish this way either
