Length Without Food

Im going on vacation soon, would anyone be able to tell me how long a 11 inch Nile Monitor would be able to go without food?

Feed him before you go and make sure he has lots of water(that's the key)...don't worry... have a nice vacation

I'd start slowing down the food before you go, so it's not sitting in crap the entire time you are away. 8 days is nothing as far as food goes, but water is very important.

I will be paying someone to take care of him while im gone from my local pet shop. I knew he could go a very long time with out food, I just wasnt sure of the exact time. I dont want to risk it....
