I am really wanting to get a super tiger retic, but I also want the animal to have a good life. How big of a cage would I need for a male retic and what is the average size of males, I want one but you cant always get what you want. thanks Nick
I have heard the same thing, but I use the general rule of going 1/2 the snakes length by 1/3 of its length as a bare minimum. So if your male was 15' long retic(a smaller male) You would be looking at a cage AT LEAST 8'x5'. Any bigger of a snake would almost require a room too itself. (Just as a side note, the half the body bye a third of the body works out, to giving between 2&3 square feet per foot of snake).
