Corn Snake Shedding?

I have a corn snake, and his eyes went blueish for 2 days and it looked like his colour was fading. But now he looks like he did before and I checked the cage but seen no shed skin. And his eyes arnt blue anymore. Is it possible for them to miss a shed or what? thanks aaron

Expect a shed within the next day or so! All snakes have the "blue" phase prior to ecdysis but turn "clear" again just before they shed.
Let us know for sure.

Thanks everyone I will all let you know in a couple of days if he sheds...

oh yeah should I give him a bath to help him shed or just mist him.? Also I have newspaper for the bottom of his cage. Would this just soak the newspaper or what can I do to help him have a perfect shed?

You don't really *need* to bath him.

Misting a couple times is cool, or humid hide. Most of the tiem though they can shed just fine without either of those things.

A lot of corns will shed perfectly even under the most xeric conditions. I usually give them a little misting in the mornings when I know ecdysis is imminent. Soaking is unnecessary but it wouldn't kill the snake.....
