Getting close??
Took a look at my adult pair this morning and they appear ready to breed for me this year. I'm hoping this girl is up to it.

Good luck Mark! Great looking Mandarin. Hope she lays a nice clutch for you! If you don't mind me asking- about how old is she and what's her weight? Do you happen to know what locality she is? She's got a different pattern than my CB pair. My 2002 female is very slowly growing up... patience... I'm hoping in a couple of years she'll be ready to breed.
As far as pricing- captive bred Mandarins range from 250.00 to 700.00 US depending on age, pattern and sex. Females- especially breeder size will run the most (go figure!). Wild caught run 35-100.00 US but you get what you pay for. Most wild caught don't thrive and aren't likely to save you any money in the long run. How much is a dead, beautiful snake worth???

Although I've had her for about 2 yr. (she is a wc) I wouldn't guess her age at more than 4. She was and still is a bit on the thin side, but eats well and hopefully will breed to a slightly larger male. She has less red than the male and I really could not hazard a guess ontheir actual locality.
