coastal carpet pic

hi i live in australia and i have a coastal carpet python. it is really young and the pictures i have are not very good so i thought i would post a photo of my friend's female. she is 2.5 years old and a little snappy. this is rare for a coastal as they are normally very tame and excellent pets. they are very easy feeders also almost to the point of being gluttons. i am holding her in the photo but she hasnt bit me yet. she has bit my friend though . lol. we are only allowed to keep natives here but the permit is unlimited on numbers. carpets are good and they grow to a nice size (10 - 14 feet)

That's a cool pic!!

Its the exact opposite here. We're only allowed to keep exotics here and its illegal to keep native animals. Weird.

Jeff,

I Actually own the coastal in question, the colors are no where near as yellow as the photo suggests. I think it was the camera that made it look so yellow. The markings are actually a dark cream on her back turning lighter as they reach her belly. The markings are really clear which makes them stand out a lot more as well.
