Ive tried giveing it a small mouse ive tried a live rat pinkey and ever a small mouse pinkey and he wont eat anything. Anyone have any ideas why he wont eat??

if it can eat a small mouse it sounds like the animal is at least a juvi and can easily go 6 months without food providing there are no underlying health or husbandry issues. I have a male that usually will go on strike for a month or more twice a year (not counting breeding fasts), then he starts again an is rapidly back to his 2-3 mouse per feeding routine. If there is no large weight loss just relax and offer it once a week until he decides he's hungry.

It may be stressed out due to the change in surroundings. I'd say it's unlikely mating time.. that's spring time. Give it a week. Corns don't go on hunger strikes for long.

Kevin, this is like the 3rd post I've watched where you inappropriatley respond with congrats. Believe me friend, people here remember a person for their knowledge and ability to help, not the number showing how many posts they have made. The way you answer makes it seem that your not even reading the threads to begin with. Every post made is logged, I should know under my handle are 45 pages worth. Some were correct, a few were wrong, some were questions, and yes some were appropriately placed congratz or welcomes. When I joined the site, we were a small handful and greeting everyone or one word comments about new animals was easy. Now the site is tooooooo large and even though I usually look at all the pictures and notice(usually even check location) the newcomers I just don't really comment unless something is spectacular or someone askes a question in their intro. Say something or say nothing, but at least make it seem like you are on the same thread as everyone ele. I mean, what are you saying here? congrats that his snakes in not eating and that he's worried there could be something wrong with it? Not trying to come down on you bro, but this is the 3rd thread this morning.

As far as I know, and thanks to Jordan for telling me this, a lot of colubrids go on and off feed at this time of the year. I think you should keep offering it food once per week and if there is a drastic weight loss you should go see a veterinarian.
