Actually Josh, the Argi's are a relatively easy snake to care for. They do seem to like thier temps a bit cooler than some of the other boas. I don't know about others, but mine is definately not one to just sit there when you take him out. He is always on the move. He always seems to be alert, anytime I go into the snake room, I can count on him to watch every move I make. They are a bit hissing as babys and like to show the inside of their mouths, but usually grow out of it fairly quickly. I can only remember two times in the last couple years where I have heard mine hiss and both times he had a mouth full of rat and I walked by his cage. He is definately a joy to have and I would recommend them. You gotta remember though the females can get quite large, but if you have the knowledge and space to properly care for one, get one. You won't be disappointed. If you would like to know anything else, let me know.
