Japanese Rat Snake

Fedex dropped off my Japanese Rat late last week, he fed yesterday for me and I caught him under the heat panel this morning... I think he was kept in a rack all his life and is still a bit insecure with the glass cage...the flash doesn't do him justice he has some blue starting to come in.

I'm going to get some more plants in there to make him feel more secure...

Re: Japanese Rat Snake

very pretty snake. my carpet python was kept in a rack for over a year until i picked him up. It took him a few months to really get used to a bigger enclosure and stop hiding so much

Re: Japanese Rat Snake

Nice, I have a Japanese rat myself. Wonderful snakes to keep. Her name is Sushi, and it fits. She has the smelliest snake poop ever! LOL, she can stink up the entire room when she lets go...

Re: Japanese Rat Snake

Nice looking snake. I couldn't agree more about the blue beauties, whew. The larger they get, the worse it gets.
