Honduran photos
Thought I would post a couple photos of our Hondurans - we hope to pair these two in the coming season. The male in the first photo just ate his gerbil, the only time he will sit still long enough for a photo - he is still really hyper even though he will be 3 years old - wonder when he will grow up! He is quite orange, compared with our two females who are darker red. The female in the second photo is incredibly calm and is one of our best snakes for taking to shows for kids to handle.

Hey ReneeB - I should have thought to blame the fact that he has not grown up with the fact that he is male! Now that I think about it, most of our goofy snakes are boys - maybe there is something to that.

Hmm maybe there's something to that. any snake that has escaped on us has been male, regardless of species. even when there were females in the same tank only the male escaped.... go figure...
