hey, i got my beardie male about 6-7 weeks ago hes doing great. I have a uvb fixture i think its a 8.0 and i put it in the tank neer his basking spot, 4-6 inches away, now i was just wondering is their such thing as tooo much uvb? ive never heard of it but i was just wondering about it, its my oly lizard, i mostly keep frogs, lots of frogs.
thanx for your help
Since wild beardies soak up the sun full force, and even the best UB bulbs we have are no match for sunlight, I'm betting you can't overdo the artificial UV-B without much effort.
