Here is a full-body shot, showing the dorsal pattern. You can see where the blotches occasionally join to form a zig-zag type pattern...


I think that these snakes have some of the most interesting head-patterns I've seen. My female looks as though she's got a stylized skull complete with sharp teeth. Very neat.
They're totally mellow and never offer to bite or even rattle their tails.
