Actually, they get their name from their patterning, not the coloration. The anaconda phase is actually a co-dominant trait. When 2 anacondas are bred together, you will get patternless hog.

I am by no means a hoggie expert but the anaconda / patternless hoggies are my favorite so I am aware c:
