Finally redoing my Bearded dragons cage!

so i broke the sliding plexi glass doors out the other day, so i am making door out of ply wood and plexi glass. they will be hinged doors

before.


i have the doors starting to being made, the wont look pretty, since i wont be painting them, but they will get the job done.

here is the start of the doors...

here is the final product, still MIGHT paint the door frames, and still need to come up with a better "lock" for the doors, but it looks nice, for now!

well there it is.... finally a nice looking cage, hopfully this will help him not hate me as much... (less stress)

Those look like some awful big gaps between the doors. I know my dragon can squeeze herself down very flat (when basking sometimes she'll get so flat on the ground it's amazing - I'd like an x-ray to see how her insides squish out to the sides!). Is there a risk of yours squeezing out there? Maybe if wiggle sideways?

nah, the look HUGE in the pic... but its only like 1/4 of an inch, or even less... not sure why they look like that.

he is pretty big any ways, not sure he could get his head through.

I dont think he can get out, but have been checking through out the day
