Home Grown Necropsy...**GRAPHIC PICTURES**
Squeemish look away! there are pictures of a snake being dissected. It's gross.
Okay then, I'm not done yet, but I needed a breather, as he does NOT smell nice. (think rotten eggs. add a noxious fart and you're about half there).
I haven't even gotten to his organs yet, but i'm pretty sure I found the cause of death. Take a look:
See what I mean? It's squishy and goes from the stomach down to the vent! And the closer to the vent I get, the worse it smells. Any Ideas? Figured I'd post this while breathing. hopefully I don't vomit.

I'm not trying to be an ***, but do you even know what normal organs look like? Without knowing it's going to be hard to find what abnormal is. Everything in there is going to be squishy and look bad to you if you've never seen it before...

Intestines and what I'm assuming are kidneys
Heart
anything else I should get pictures of? Lungs look good, but they're hard to get a good picture of. Stomach was fine too.

Re: Home Grown Necropsy...**GRAPHIC PICTURES**
why not just remove all the organs? that way you can look 360 around them. Pulling them out wont give you that good of a view

Yeah, it was just the way the spine was curving after death from what I can tell.

Not pulling everything out, as It stinks, and I've almost thrown up 3 times...I've never smelt anything that bad, even while working in respiratory care. Sorry it's not the pretties pictures, but I've never really done this before...

reptile fat is foul, although with it smelling as bad as it does could that maybe mean something?

I almost wonder, cause he was in the fridge, so decay should have been super slow. it stunk before I cut him open, and just got worse and worse. I've done cow hearts, pigs, stood through open heart surgery without even a second thought...this was rough...I wish you could send smells through the internet xD

^^ This.
Of course it doesn't smell pleasant, but it shouldn't smell THAT bad, especially if you've worked in RT. How old is it?
