Snake ID

I was looking through some pics of a friend of mine on facebook when I ran across this pic. I have never seen this guy before and I'm surprised she didn't send it to me and ask me what it is. Now I'm curious!

This is the only pic. The location is in Monroe, La. which is northeastern La. They live near the Ouachita River if that helps any.
