New Hog!!!

Hi!

This is sort of my first snake!

He's a male yearling captive-bred western hognose snake! And I looove him! He's about 12 inches total length.

Here's his enclosure:
It's a 15 gallon tank with a few inches of aspen. I have a 12L by 6W by 3T (inch) tupperware container full of moist coconut fiber for his humid hide, and another bowl for soaking. I'm currently using a 45 watt incandescent flood to create a basking spot surface temperature of 90 to 95*F.

He's a good eater!!! He was properly switched onto scented F/T mice and is currently taking fuzzies! WooHooo!

Yeah, he's pretty cool, and I'm glad you're happy with him. You have the enthusiasm to be a good snake keeper. I especially like this picture. (sorry had to...)
