The importance of safe wiring (Silly Sav)

So Littlefoot figured out how to climb all the way up to the ceiling of the cage and found this cozy spot to hang out.. Thankfully I wired this up right, and all the knockout plugs are still in place, or he could get inside the electrical box.

Also all that caulking keeps him from wedging into the seams of the cage too.

So now I suddenly feel the need to re-inspect every crevice in that enclosure..

This truly illustrates why you cannot cobble up your wiring, these clever devils will find a way to get into the craziest situations.

Cute pic. My rats just chewed the thermostat wiring. Surprised it didn't get killed.

I really do need to get a tree in there, maybe it will keep them occupied.

I am just surprised that he could climb up the boards like that.

Re: The importance of safe wiring (Silly Sav)

I think the other day when I thought he escaped, he was up there. I never thought to look up high, and he was "missing" all day.

Little dude is probably looking down thinking "ha ha can't find me"

Littlefoot seems to be a typical toddler, just wanting to explore and get into everything!

and like any good parent, I moved the outlet to the ceiling where my little spider monkey can't get at it.
