Chat Room??

Well I did a quick search about chatroom threads and pulled up one that was around 3 years old. There are a lot more members now since then, even more online at any given time. I think all forums could benefit from a chat room, especially ones as big as this one. I know I check the forum almost hourly, and would love the chance to just talk to other members about nothing, get to know everyone a little better that much faster. Just a suggestion, any thoughts are appreciated. Sorry if this is stepping on any toes. Caylan.S.

Personally I prefer the threads that way if I have to sign off for an hour I can come back and read up on what's been going on while I was gone. If there was a chatroom I'd feel left out of whatever was talked about when I couldn't be online chatting.

Also I think the lack of a chat room makes for a more unified community on the threads.

I am with Alessia - not being able to log on all the time with the current forum i never miss anything (i am one of those mad fools that reads EVERY post)

I agree, sometimes there are days that I can't get online for whatever reason, and I love to get caught up, where as in a chat-room, I would simply miss all discussion on those days

As Kayla mentioned, we have a little Facebook group going.
Stephen, Kayla, Kat and others post frequently, and I'm usually lurking but I don't talk much.

I love the vibe I get when I come on here, and go through the posts. I don't think id feel the same with a chat room.

Intersting, fairly unanimous! I didn't realize a chat room would cause people to miss out on things they really want to read, figured it would just be a place to hang out once in a while. Thats fine, I enjoy reading the posts as well, I just kinda like real time talking over thread conversations sometimes, as tehy often get forgotten and never replied to. Plus it just feels more personal. But regardless seems the concensus is against a chatroom, so no big deal. It was just a suggestion. Carry on lol. Caylan.S.

It's a timezone issue for some of us, I play catch up most of the time with whats going on here....
