Re: snakes are really scary
The above post was made by a spammer from China trying to sell rubber snakes on our forum.
Deleted the link so we can all have a laugh at this one.

Lol, I don't know how she thought that was going to work- obviously we are not afraid of snakes, since this is a snake forum. LOL!

Re: snakes are really scary
That's funny.......rubber snakes can be fun when you're a kid though. Put one in a paper bag when I was about 7 or 8 and gave the bag to my Grandma who is terrified of snakes. She opened it, screamed, and chased me outside around the house with a broom, lol!! Almost got me too!! I remember thinking, dang this old woman is fast.....good thing it was a fake one and not the little grass snake I had caught and released a few days earlier, she might have chased me with something other than a broom!!!!!

Haha I have one that looks exactly like my little corn so when I leave it around the house my mom gets a good scare. :P Thinks he got out. That actually reminds me I was holding my corn and my Grandma went to hug me and she realized I was holding a snake when I didn't hug her back :P It was pretty funny.

Same I have many lovely friends from up north.~ They're all so humorous and well mannered. <3 Besides, I like the colder climates anyways. ;>
Also, LadyJustice, that sounds hilarious xD Especially love that thought,"Dang, this old lady is fast." <3
Before my mother got me my first corn for Christmas, she handed me a fake rubber snake and said,"Here, this is as close as you'll get to owning a real snake." lol~ Now look at me, I got three! Thinking I'm wanting a Blood Python next... I think it was funny though, 'cause the head and facial features of the rubber snake were that of a viper and I'm like,"... You gave me a -viper- as my fake snake? You're insane!"

Re: snakes are really scary
my brothers wife is afraid of snakes, does the screech, flail and run thing if there's one around!! Last summer my brother and I were walking out in the forest and he picked up a snake, guess he forgot he was with me as he pushed the snake at me with a mischevious grin. Of course the grin faded when I took the snake from him and kept walking. He's so used to screechy reactions from his wife, that I think he forgot what his little sister was like!! (nothing like his wife I can say)
