If it cant escape, is free from parasites, free from pesticides and not too cold then yes, personally i dont let my reptiles "free roam" but each to their own.

My guy can be very quick but he actually is normally really slow. I just took him outside he freaked out and started running in circles. He didnt even try to run away he just ran in circles.
No he is just really hyper once he realised he could go were ever he wanted he started to try and run around the yard. And dont worry its not it is like 70-75 degres if not a little bit colder but not much. Plus I only brought him out for like 5 minutes.
Most will freak and try to hide under something if they hear them far off, or see shadows etc. My beardie has a tantrum if we leave a window open and he can hear them singing.
