Finally got some pics of him out the viv while wifey held him. This is the second handling session with no strikes!!

lol that 3rd and fourth pic would have me a bit worried!! he looks great, very yellow!!
congrats on the taming efforts, it would suck to have an animal you couldn't handle!!

His (or her) patterns look very similar to mine, of course mine is much smaller right now, but that gives me an idea about how he'll look when he gets bigger. How old is yours?

Very nice pictures, Yeah that 3rd and 4th does kind of looked a little like a striking pose.
It's nice that your wife doesn't mind holding them.

In terms of age i think he is coming up to two year old. He is quite placid once out of the viv now, he was in S shape but we werent concerned that he would strike at that point.

Wifey loves the reptiles as much as i do, the nasty jcp is her favourite and she has done 99% of the taming work and taken the majority of the bites from him. I did have that terrible feeling in my gut when i came home and told her i wanted to get a snake, kinda expecting her to kcik me out of the house!! Turns out she is as passionate about them as me and what i thought would be my little hobby turned into a shared experience.

We would both love to have more but space and money prevent us at the moment, who knows for the future tho!!
