What a nice jester.
I do it now and then for some of my regular customer. Me and a friend of mine will buy some of the old timer coffee. SEASONS GREETING TO ALL.

And yes, I intend to pay it forward the next time I'm at McDonald's. No, you can't all follow me until then. LOL

Wasn't me. Local paper has a article called "Random Acts of Kindness" where people write in telling story where some do a good deed to help someone else out. From paying for grocery for a elderly man who forgot his wallet on the bus. To helping someone change a flat tire. What gets me is it good news so it on the very last page of the paper.

Re: spread the christmas joy!
About 4 years ago Dorothy crashed on a 4 wheeler out on our track and had to be airlifted to the trauma center.
I rushed to the hospital with our kids as fast as I could and we spent the night on pins and needles while the surgeon fixed up my lovely lady.
Next morning I took the kids down to the hospital cafeteria and out of the blue one of the food prep cooks who overheard me tell the kids to be careful how much food they got since I had so little money in my pocket.
The cook took off his gloves and walked over to the cashier and not only paid for our breakfast, but told my kids to help themselves to whatever they wanted.

Re: spread the christmas joy!
want to really make peoples day??
In todays world so many people are quick to gripe about most anything.
do simple stuff, like when you go to the store, rather than complain about the prices or the weather, compliment the cashier.
Hold doors open for the person behind you, offer to take the shopping cart from the person in the parking lot that just finished unloading it into their car. heck you are going to get a cart when you enter anyways.
Surrender your prime parking spot to an elderly person and park a little further back.
little things mean a lot.

Re: spread the christmas joy!
i always hold the door open for people, i always get up if im sitting down for elderly people, i always say hello if i make eye contact with some one, i always so sorry if i accidently walk into someone :P it happens... I always let people merge in traffic, if im walking and a car slows down for me to cross i always smile and wave and Run across so they can be on their way.... and im always very polite and respectfull. just little things that really get taken for granted, but the way i fugure it, if i hate the way people have become so selfish and self considerate, than who and what am i if i, choose to be the same. When does it all stop, their needs to be a begining for an end to ever happen lets be like the hippies, peace love and harmony, its my favorite part of this season, people seem to loss the chip on thier shoulds, even if its just for 2 months a year

Re: spread the christmas joy!
My kids get mad if we don't toss change in the kettle for the "bell ringers"
Teach them young.
My 28 year old still wears tie dye tees and listens to Steve Miller & Pink Floyd, so I must have done something right.
