Re: Herp shows in Phoenix, AZ

Nope, there was the Tucson show Sept 29 & 30, but that's about it besides a few really small ones. They used to have 2 a year in Mesa, one in March & another in June, but those are no longer as of like 2 years ago. I'll let you know if I hear of any. Tucson was pretty cool, but there wasn't much for large boid people like myself, only a couple dozen retics and some boas.

BTW, you should really check out the Arizona Herpetological Association, we meet at the Phoenix Zoo on the 4th Tues of every month(except Dec), around 7-9pm. A bunch of people getting together for their love of reptiles, with a lecture by various people each meeting. Visit Arizona Herpetological Association's Web Page & check out the forums for more info on stuff here in the valley.

Re: Herp shows in Phoenix, AZ

Not at all, but you can sign up there, it's $20 a year & you get a card that gives you 15% off anything at Arizona Reptile Center(mesa), or 10% off @ PetsINC(tempe), which more than makes up for the membership fee if you buy feeders/equipment/animals at the stores.

I probably won't be @ this month's meeting due to work, but I'll try be there in Dec.

This is my little buddy holding one of my retics @ the picnic we had last Sat. @ South Mountain:

The guy to the left in the background is Mark, the pres, & just to the right of him is Micah the v.p., both pretty cool guys.

No problem man. How old are you? Reason I ask is there's a few 12 yr olds that come to the meetings & stuff as well as young adults(18-25) like myself & half the background of that pic, but no regulars really in between those ages.
