Help Quick Sick Beardie

Hey everone. I have an adult bearded who looks very ill. He has not eaten in about 4 days , is very pale and has what lookes to be ''zits'' around his vent and back legs. He is not active and I am worried.

Is there a formula that I can mix up to stomach feed him soon?I can post pics of him too..

-Anthony

im not much of a lizard guy, but i do have a beardie so maybe i can help you out because i dont know how many other people will respond to this.

when i got my beardie i was told that males have those "zits" you speak of on their back legs. now please keep in mind i was told this by a pet shop so i dont know how true it is. however, ive had my beardie for over 2 years now so the "zits" are not a health problem. and as for going off feed for 4 days, my beardie does that all the time so you may want to wait a while longer before you start to worry.

i dont exactly know what you mean when you say he "looks ill" so pics may help there but i really am hoping someone that knows more about beardies will help you here because i am pretty much a strictly snake guy.

don't panic

hello, those "zits" are spores and that just means he is a male...if they are what you make it sound like. have you tried an electrolite bath? soak your beardie in a few inches of a store bought electrolitemixture and warm water then try some soft bugs or something that is easy to eat... if you are low on cash try soaking in some warm water and clear power aid(thedrink). its full of electrolites and does the trick I have done it many times and always seems to work. also live pinkies will usually perk up any adult beardie. keep me posted. send me a pic of full body and his vent and legs i will tell you if they are different then whats normal
