Unhappy Unexpected gecko eggs

My brother just bought a 1.5 year old albino leopard gecko at the IRBA show last weekend and last night it laid 2 eggs in her water dish. We took them out and put them in an incubator, but we really weren't expecting eggs at all. We could really use all the help we can get with information on substrate and temp/humidity, about how long does it take for them to hatch, etc.? Also what should we do for the mom, does she need extra humidity extra food etc.? Shouldn't the vendor that sold her to him have warned him that she was gravid or is it normal for females to randomly lay eggs? Well if I have any other questions I'll add them later. Thanks in advance for any information you can offer.
~Jenn
