Viper Boa
i just picked up an awesome Viper Boa today at the reptile show in White Plains, NY USA. Female. and man is she mean. tagged the vendor who owned her when he pulled her out and according to him twice that day already. almost got me but I'm slick. i love the feisty ones. it was so hard to decide between this or the adult matlocks or an adult giant hognose. but I'm glad i got her. any name suggestions for a mean girl ? pics to post soon i hope.
Thanks all.
Todd

That is typical for a viper boa. They only get to about 3 feet maybe but they are all feisty.Good luck with her. Getting a male will be fun as well. JHope you enjoy her.

Was it wearing a grey suit? Sorry couldn't resist I love that show... I think they took it off the air [again] though
Macklotts are neat snakes, too... too bad they just don't seem to be very popular with the crowds. The whole Liasus genus are really beautiful. Either way, congrats on your new little viper boa

Awesome! I came pretty close to getting a viper boa about a year ago, and I still think they are awesome snakes. They handed it to me from it's shoebox and as soon as it was in my hands it struck and bit me twice, the pissed all over my arm. The candoia are such interesting animals. Do you have any pictures?

LMFAO Linds!!! I didn't even notice that until you pointed it out. Good eye, good eye.
I love all candoia ssp. They are so prehistoric looking. They are always crazy strikey, but once you've got 'em they're usually not too bad. They won't strike the person holding them, but anyone walking by, heads up!
PICS DAMN IT!!! : )
