Does anyone have any videos of them handling their ball? lol, didnt realize how funny that sounds till now, but I've seen the feeding techniques, but never any handling techniques, from the pick up to the put down.
Use both hands.
Don't approach your snake to be picked up head on, you'll get bit.
Don't pick your snake up my the head or the tip of the tail.
Be gentle.
There! I just saved you having to watch a video.
Your welcome.
Are you just looking for everyday "how to pick it up" or "taming" tricks?
If your snake is small, cupping can be very effective for taming, but remember that most balls are head shy. Cupping (btw) is when you create a hide using your hand (while handling), and allow your snake to crawl out on his own (through your fingers).
I always wash my hands before handling, just in case I handled a rodent or other reptile before. If your ball is a new addition, it would be wise to wash your hands afterwards so as not to pass on possible mites to your collection.
