sexing black throats

ok well now that im looking at the "female" black throat i bought a few weeks ago and no im kinda wondering if its really female. shes damn near 4.5 feet long so shes plenty big to sex. so you guys have anymore tips for sexing the monsters. including getting the hemipenes evert maybe. but anything would be helpful. i can post pics of the lizards needed

From a few angles, side, top, bottom, etc. They are an easy monitor to sex actually. The problem is know what to look for, the nose, head shape, midsection, tail base, etc. Popping them is not easy, if done wrong can hurt them. Also one problem with eversions, and popping is you may only see a partial if you dont know what your looking at. Male albigs have BULGES not bulges, they really stand out on the tail, the nostrils stand up and out the sides more, the head seems narrow in comparison sometimes, the midsetion is shorter narrower, eye ridges are a bit different.
