Couple pics of feeding time

I thought I would share a couple of pics of my savvy munching back a mouse.

Sorry for the quality of a few of them.

Here's the mouse:

Coming out:

Biting the rock for some reason:

Attack!

The ol' head shake:

Poundin' it back:

She's stuck... the mouse stays like this for about 10 minutes untill one leg is finally into his mouth:

Thanks for looking... hope you guys like 'em.

Mike

Ahh the oh so familiar feeding ritual of the Savannah Monitor

Wow that is an odd looking mouse compared to what I see around here, Is that any special kind of species or something? I just see your basic white or black mice, look nothing like that.

The mouse is just a frozen mouse from SuperPet, a Fancy mouse I think they call them... It WAS kind of odd shaped, though... big belly, kind of.

Raven is about 10 months old, but not very big yet. He chokes down one mouse this size every other day now...

I was feeding him a couple of fuzzys every day but the guy at SuperPet gave me full size mice instead one day and I didn't notice untill later so I though I'd see if he could swallow one.

Even if he couldn't swallow it I knew he would still try, he'll try and eat anything... fingers, tongs, rocks... you name it.

I figured I'd just take it away from him and cut it up, but no chance there. He just ravages it until it goes down the ol' throat hole.
