when i was looking at my snake today i saw a scale that was different from the ones around it turns out it was a mite so i need to know what can i do about...i cleaned the tank out and wasked every thing down but i dont knkow what to do about the mite it self
thanks
If you mistook it for a scale it's probably a tick. Swab it with rubbing alcohol, get some tweezers, get a hold of as much of the tick as you can and pull slowly. Keep your eyes open, where there's one ther are ussually more.
P.S. see a vet.
