Speachless..

Wow...

So heres the story. As some of you know, I got a nice female yesterday with such a nice gold color that beat the looks of the two I already own. So I was already happy with the looks, but the appetite of this thing is NO ball! I figured I would attempt a feed as the previous owner said it ate last week. I was told it was taking f/t rats. I thawed out the rat, and opened her rubbermaid. As I put the rat near her she was already flicking and interested. Within seconds she opened her mouth and casually started taking it down! I couldnt believe it. Im used to my corns doing that, sometimes even my jcp, but WOW im SO happy with this pick up. She is just all around an AMAZING ball python

Im just speachless! Well .. not really

Yeah sometimes my ball just takes it when I drop it in the enclosure, but some times I have to wriggle it around a bit...

sweet feeding pics!

When Ball Pythons are eating, they are the most insane of strikers, rivalled only by maybe Green Trees and White Lips.

You got that right. As I've stated in past posts, my female is almost intimidating when she is in the "mode". Like a chubby rattlesnake when she strikes.

I wish I had the same luck, my little guy still hasn't eaten. I even took the advice and left the rat (f/t of course) in the enclosure over night. No such luck it was still there this morning.. I'll just keep trying. At this rate i'm going to have to order more f/t rats!!
