Animal cops... lots of pythons
took "60-70 thousand dollars) worth of snakes from some guy because snakes where illegal in his county. I didnt catch it all but I think they gave him a choise of handing them over or being brought up on charges.
He had pied ball pythons, all sorts of boas and other pythons. He had a real nice collection going and now.... nothing. Kinda sad to take someones snakes AND lively hood like that. the largest he had was what looked like a columbian boa or carpet
python. All were commented on how healthy they were. I think they sad he ahd 26 snakes.

Bummer, I would think twice about investing that much money on snakes if they weren't allowed in my county.

I think I'd just move to a different country if I had the money for those snakes THEN get the snakes.
Or if he was running some type of illegal opperation I would of atleast had my house guard my an extreme ornary and lethal venomoid while he was on this illegal steak ( <- joke)

he was some asian guy, in in san fran cali and he didnt know. He was let off on community servise because he did what was asked.
they are illegal because tehy are considered "dangerus animals". And I'm not sure if he got his snakes back or not. I doubt it but he is moving to another county so that he can legaly breed them.
He could have gotten in to alot of trouble for breeding them they made it seem like.

Ahh crap...I should learn how to read.
60-70 thousand is a lot of money. He should have been smarter than that and moved to a different COUNTY before acquiring his collection IMO. I wonder what the cops did with the snakes...

I caught just the end of that episode.. It truly is a shame that it had to happen. Im not sure how to complaint came up against him. But I would bet that he had someone in his house that wasnt his close friends or family, that called in the complaint.. Which really sucks..
