Frist real Reptile Room Anybody Got Ideas

OK So next week we are moving and I will be getting my first Real Reptile room that doesn't have to be shared as a spare bedroom or anything like that.

Looking for Ideas. It will be in the basement of our new house. I plan on adding a seperate baseboard heater just for that room to keep it warm as we normally keep our house on the cool side.

Anything that is a must have, or anymistakes you made would be great to know. The room is Approx 15 x 15 and will also house my computer ,likely a TV and maybe a couch.

Pics of your setups would also be good.

Thanks.

Charles

if your keeping the couch and tv dont forget a fridge freezer for rodents and beer

I insulated the floor with 2" of styrofoam and covered it with plywood. Basement floors get cold. I also inulated the ceiling and outside walls. Our bedroom is above the reptile room; at night the monitor would become active and make a lot of noise. Sometimes we would make a lot of noise, lol. Paul.

Make sure that vents and under the doors are escape proof. Keepng any escape artists in that room will make the search 1'000'000x easier... even if it only comes into play once, it's worth it.
