My ksb was 3 months old when I got him. I put him right into a 10 gallon with crushed walnut shells, a background, water dish, some plants and a log. His first few feedings I put him in a deli cup (the one the breeder gave him to me in) with his food, put the lid back on, sat it in his cage and buried the cup a bit, covered the cage so it was dark and left him to eat.

I always have to start mine off on live (that's normally what they are eating when the arrive) inside a small dark margerine container with just enough substrate to cover them. Then I back off the substrate till there is none at all then I switch them to F/T. This year I received a rough scale from Roy Stockwell that went straight to F/T left over night in a small dish with no substrate at all.
Cheers,
Trevor

Thanks guys, the reason she hasn't ate yet is because she is about to shed her skin, but I will try again after she sheds

Thanks again
