they don't work that well. Got a couple of topicair ones for a couple bux a piece at a sale at pet smart...Good Idea, but they don't move enough air to make a big difference..

Don't you think they would do good in an ETB or GTP's cage??? I think the results could be interesting...

Have some of you guys tried it?!? I would really like to know if it is very noisy, because i might try one if it is not... The only problem is that it's in my room, so i don't want to be bothered when sleeping by the sound

You'll hear the aquarium air pump going. THe new ones arn't loud but still make noise.

Hehe, you're right Paul, even for an ETB it should be turned off at night... hehe, i think i'll consider building one of these...

My hands aren't strong enough to spray... No kidding, i have one but i think having such a little device would also help keeping the airflow good...

At the bottom it said that it keeps the humidity in his 35 gallon at 55%....
Isn't that a tad low? Our house humidifier recommends a setting of 45 to 50 percent, and the house seems to maintain that easily without mechanical intervention.
When we had the garters in the 75 gallon tank it maintained a 60% humidity rate with only a couple of squirts from a misting bottle two times a week. For shed time it just took a couple more squirts. And the tank had a bulb for heat, which made it dryer than under-tank heating.
If you're looking for good automatic misting, try picking up one of those ultrasonic foggers and put it on a timer for 5 minutes at a time, until you hit the humidity level you're seeking. They're about 25 bucks US if you do a search on Yahoo shopping.

Like I previously stated. These containers with air pumps things don't work that well. There isn't much air being moved through em. For what they do it's a waste of electricity to run an air pump. Heres a LINK to the ones I have tried. I bought them for a couple bux each at some blow out sale at Pet Smart...
Just saying that there are much easier ways and (inexpensive in the long run) to achieve higher humidity like a few mentioned above.
