Hello Everyone
hows it going? alright i have a 1 year old male jungle carpet python. He lives in a 18.5 L rubbermaid container on my heat rack system. I was wondering if i should move him into a tank? also im wondering if anyone would not mind sharing some pictures of their JCP cages, setups , tanks? If you guys could help me out that would be just great!
thanks, Adam
Into a tank? Like a fish cage? (aka aquarium)? No, you should move him into a snake cage. At about 1-1.5 years of age, Jungles can be moved into their adult enclosures. But it all depends on size. And size depends on feeding x age. And no one here knows the size of your Jungle, only its age.
Jeff is right it all depends on size. We keep our smaller boas and pythons in plastic tubs held in a rack system. They start off in shoe box sized tubs and move to larger sizes as they get bigger.
