Yes, hurt like a mother. Bled all over and got infected.
Was so fast I never even saw it comming, and the snake wasn't posing to strike or anything.
I since beheaded and ate the snake.

Here are two pics. I think that the first one is a emerald and the second a gtp. Im thinking that because I dont see any heat pits on the second guy and I know that that ones a gtp forsure. So im just guessing the first ones a emerald. Could be wrong but awesome pics none the less.

SHADOW:
This is interesting, so far I been lucky not to have been tagged. Even with 2 WC females I got last year they try but so far I been lucky. Although my friend 3 years back picked up a WC adult female, she was pretty take from her flight to the cage. But after a few days my friend wanted to see her up close and examine her. Amazingly she still acted pretty tame in his hands. But that was only for show once he put her back in her cage and she felt secure on her branch she launched on his right arm and wrist - tagged his 6 times in split seconds. He did not move his arm till she stopped to not injure her at all or her teeth.
Brave, brave, brave - cause he felt the teeth tickle his arm and wrist bones......did I mention the blood from over 25 open wounds.
It was a learning experience, he mentioned it hurt but not as much as his full detail tatoos but still would not want to try that twice.
Cya...

My husband, Morti, got tagged by one during a probing. He didn't just bite, he CHEWED. Morti now has nerve damage in his wrist.

Are you saying that GTP's don't have any heat pits?

They both look like ETB's.

I've always referred to GTP'S AS ETB'S light! Both extremely gorgeous animals with sometimes even temperments but one of the major difference in the size of the front fangs.
The name escapes me but someone I've spoken with kept them for some time until he got bit on the head and then promptly got rid of his entire collection and swore to never keep them again.
I've been tagged a couple of times on the arm and came real close to the face once. I had one of those clear head sheild (can't remeber what it was actually used for) things for whenever I worked with them. All my animals were wild caught when I kept them many years back.
After the Red Dear show and seeing some of the gorgeous animals Richard had I'm starting to think about getting some again.

I remember a few of the WC's being really difficult to get feeding at first. Had to resort to live budgie's for a couple of them. Trust me you don't want to have to clean the cage after that mess.
Eventually all took F/T.
